Photographer's Note

Another image of nelore cows having a lunch.
In fact the younger were fighting by a small piece of sugar cane.
Few weeks before this pasture was completly dry and had no food and the rancher gave them sugar cane every day to survive the winter and the first part of spring. When the rains came back the sugar cane suply was cancelled but they had in the memory the sweet of the sugar cane and they were trying to find it again in this dead part that reminded in the ground. When they are fed they act as a domestic animal, ever waiting for more.
In this same place, during this 2021 winter, the season was terrible cold and dry and the sugar cane they had in the ranch wasn't enought and the rancher had to feed them with an imported food from central Brazil made of cotton seeds.
