MODERNIST ARCHES, a photo from Parana, South

Photographer's Note

This is another view of the modernist bus station in Londrina. It was build by João Batista Vilanova Artigas during the 1950's and it considered like a masterpiece of modern Brazilian architecture. Nowadays it is a museum of art.By chance I was there in the exact day after the architect complete its 100th birthday.

Esta é uma vista diferente da estação rodoviária de Londrina, um edifício modernista criado nos anos 50 por João Batista V.Artigas e considerada como um marco da arquitetura moderna brasileira. O local agora é um museu de arte.
Eu estava lá exatamente no dia seguinte ao centenário do arquiteto.

Hello Jorge,
Very nice and sunny view of this town, looking up towards the modern tower blocks and the arches of the bus station. I like the division between the green parts in the lower half and the yellowish tones in the middle.
