O Setor Histórico de Curitiba. Fundada no seculo XVIII, a Igreja do Rosário dos Pretos de São Benedito foi a igreja dos escravos, a segunda igreja construida na cidade. A atual construção é de 1946.

Do lado é o Solar do Rosario, uma casa histórica, residencia na decada de 1890 da família Paula França. Paula França foi prefeito de Curitiba. O Solar foi restaurado em 1992, passando a abrigar um centro de arte e cultura.

Taken in the historic sector of Curitiba. The Church of the Rosary of the Blacks of St. Benedict was founded in the XVIII century, the second church in the city and the church of the slaves. The building in the photograph was built in 1946.

To the right is the “Solar of the Rosary,” also a historic building. In the decade of the 1890s it was home to the Paula França family. Paula França was a mayor of Curitiba. The building was restored in 1992 and today houses a center for art and culture.
