DIVISA ENTRE OS ESTADOS DE MATO GROSSO DO SUL (ONDE ESTAVA) E SÃO PAULO (PARA ONDE VOLTAVA) - USINA HIDROELÉTRICA DE URUBUPUNGÁ !
THE BORDER BETWEEN THE STATES OF MATO GROSSO DO SUL (WHERE I WAS) AND SÃO PAULO (TO WHERE I WAS GOING BACK) - URUBUPUNGÁ HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT !

My parents moved to that region back in 1966. Três Lagoas (in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul = MS), Castilho and Andradina (in the State of São Paulo = SP) were the main towns around in the area where the JUPIÁ or URUBUPUNGÁ HIDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT was being built in the border of the two States, in the PARANÁ RIVER! They were pretty small and had almost nothing! As time went by, all of them got lots of improvements but TRÊS LAGOAS was the one that grew more and it's still growing!
I was visiting my parents back in july this year and we went to Três Lagoas to visit some relatives (a cousin had just had a baby)! I took this picture on our way back as we started to go across the border on the Hydroelectric Power Plant, where my father worked from 1966 to 1983 !

I like this nice road snapshot in excellent warm light. Nice light and shadow contrast, very good POV. Well done.

Taken out of the car with a excellent result.
Everything is here modern, the road, the cars and also the hydroelectric central to the left side.
Excellent composition, nice captured.

Gosto muito de ver fotos de estrada, pois me fazem sempre lembrar das viagens! A iluminação desta foto está excelente, resultando em bonitas cores! E essa região é bem plana mesmo, o que dá pra ver pelo horizonte. Belo trabalho!

Uma beleza de composição em um bonito entardecer. Destaque para a luz macia e suave e esta imensidão de água aí ao lado esquerdo.Gostei também da estrada em diagonal.

The mild morning light produces very appealing result even in the rather simple shot on the road with all the important elements are at right spot with good back ground interest. Exposure works fine, nice warm colors and contrast. A fine effort, Congrats
