El bolson, a photo from Rio Negro, South

Photographer's Note

I took this picture going from El Bolson to Bariloche, in the Rio Negro, north of patagonia. The day was rainy but as we were driving down the road the sky opened up and the sun shone over the snowy mountains.
I took this pic in black and white film and then processed it in the darkroom. Scanned and took away a couple of speckles in photoshop.
In the RP version I just added a frame and modified the intensity curve to make clouds a bit darker.

Very beautiful, Marcelo! Just a little than a month ago I was there, in little El Bolson and you remind me of an amazing place...Hopefully, I will upload some of mine soon...
comment aside, good compo with a flat feeling of compressing (though you used a normal lens). The grain combined with the dark clouds add to the overall feeling of dramaticism and the river flow take the eye toward the snowy mountain range. Wonderfull photo for a wonderful place!
