Photographer's Note

I took this pano on the Tongariro Northern Circuit just outside the Oturere Hut.
The mount on the left is the the Mt Ruapehu (2797m) and the one on the right (with the perfect cone) is the Mt Ngauruhoe (2291m).
This tramp is one of the most famous tramp in New Zealand, especially the "Tongariro Crossing" (a one day walk)with 25000 trampers/year compared to only 7000 who walk the Northern Circuit (3/4 days walk).
The Ruapehu and Ngauruhoe are active volcanoes, last eruptions were in 1996 for the Ruapehu and 1970's for the Ngauruhoe.
This pano is made of 9 shots.
I took it at 8 in the morning and maybe only 2 hours after clouds came to the moutains.
