Top of the Track, a photo from Marlborough, South Island

Photographer's Note

I shot this panoramic on the highest point of the Queen Charlotte Track (417m).
I stood on a table with my table looking to what i've done for 2 days of walk.
Weather was beautiful and temperature hot.
The Malborough region (north of the South Island) is really beautiful.

Ah oui, Christophe, ça vaut le détour !.. Quel bonheur, ce panoramique. On s'y croirait (les deux jours de marche en moins ;-)

Le reproche que je ferais à de nombreuses photos panoramiques, c'est que l'image y perd un peu en netteté ; ce n'est pas le cas de la vôtre, et les couleurs y sont vraiment bien rendues. Du beau travail.

Superbe, quel paysage, et bravo pour votre ballade, et de partager le résultat de celle-ci! Comme le dit si bien Clochette, la netteté est très bien, et le LP ne perds rien, malgré la compression "TE".

La Nouvelle Zeelande est un pays qu'il faudra que j'aille voir un jour mais qu'est ce que c'est loin! Merci en tout cas de partager avec nous ces paysages splendides. Bravo, Christophe!

Wonderful shot of the landscape. I love wide scenery shots. The color of the water is really lovely. The large version is truly awesome! Simply one of best panorama shots I've seen on TE! Sorry, I can't give you more than 2 points ;-)

Spectacular! Certainly proves the slogan "If you love the outdoors, you will love New Zealand ..." Your vantage point is so perfect, so encompassing, it shows how beautiful this part of NZ is. I just wishe we had consumer digital cameras twenty years ago when I was there. I guess it's time to go back. Thank you!
