The Cedar Route, a photo from Queensland, East

Photographer's Note

This is a shot from a trip I did on the Cedar Route during April. The Cedar Route is a tourist trail in the Southern Downs of Queensland that takes in towns and other sights that used to be part of the old cedar timber felling industry.

The weather, as you can see, is clear and cold (the area is 500m above sea level).

The filter is a circular polariser and the camera was on aperture priority (probably f8 or f11).

I love your photo Greg, it's a great B&W subject. Nature was sure in your favour with this photo. I like how the sky has one continuous whisp over the ground. All the different levels (ground, tree and sky) compliment each other shadow wise.
