Photographer's Note
... not a gargoyle, but close...
Often mistakenly referred to as a gargoyle, this grotesque or chimera was spotted by me on top of a building in Fremantle, WA. The building's facade had written on it Central Chambers...
Unless I am mistaken that means it was a place with law offices. THAT then perhaps explains the look of pain on the face of this grotesque... unless of course it is constipated.
My dedication here is to two people who will hopefully recognize same, as it is a pseudo-gargoyle, and has rams horns! That is not to say my two esteemed friends are equivalenced with said aspects! Just there interests are!
Finally this shot is also dedicated to Dj who used to be a lawyer, and on whose b'day I took this shot...

That is one grotesque little cute creature Jay! I love their faces and what they seem to represent. The sky is very blue and create a nice contrast to the lightly coloured details of the building. I'm surprised to see a picture of you taken in Australia. Nice work Jay.

Hi Jay,
For me, this is really an unexpected image from Australia!
I like very much the colour saturation and the vivid tones displayed here.
An excellent time to shot, the forceful contrast made against the blue sky is just great.
I like so much this upward POV and all that beauty shadows caught, as well the ornaments and the curious sculpture at the top.
A very interesting post!
My compliments and thanks for share it.
Best regards,
JM

Hi Jay,
Thank for the dedication, good that I've read the note hehe, else I would not have known it. The face of the gargoyle is so humorous, but nasty in some way too. Evil. Good close-up of an architectural detail. Good colours and good time of the day, due to the latter this photo offers a nice play of shadows and light.
Well seen and captured.
