Photographer's Note

There is a reason why I submitted this photo.

In one day we traveled from The blue mountains NSW to the the gold coast QLD by car . Totalling in a distance of 800km. I like scenic drives alot but company makes all the difference. Because I was stuck with family in the car it was a rather different story. I had my brother sitting next to me snoring for hours and my FATher in the front seat blaring out KISS and various 70's rock loudly.

I tried my hardest to admire the scenery.
My new Cd's of Sarah Blasko and Bjork go unheard of with the stero speakers. I could not read my books or sleep the trip away. I was stuck in the car in coastal NSW in a tin contraption of annoyance.

Not only that but I had a bad break out of acne and the heat made the car smell of B.O!!!

Mix that with the longing to be around much more loved company and my usual over contenmplations of the words issues I grew quite stressed.

This is not only the grumpy face of teen angst but the face of homesickness and someone deeply frustrated.

This is relevant because people capture their vacations but never capture their moods when they travel. I thought I would add something different.

P.S I know someone I know thinks I look too depressing on this photo. But I like it alot and consider it humourous instead of dismal.
