I like the composition with the "naturalness" of the beach in the foreground contrasting against the cityscape in the background. The colours give a very cool feel to this shot, which is fitting given when it was taken. The misty effect of the water gives an ethereal feel to the picture. Nice compo!

this is another picture with grey filter used that guys utilized for some water - freezing effect; i like that total blue cast on this one;

But again a beautiful picture, the maybe much blue colour tints through PP, give all the same a great composition.

Nice to see another shot from you Ian. And you set a pretty high standard as always. Lovely mood in this one, thanks to your long exposure and the grad filter (which I know absolutely nothing about). Composition is very good, with the foreground rocks providing depth and graphic interest.

Another great shot with superb colours to create an interesting mood. The composition and POV are beautiful as the foreground and the background has something interesting. I particularly find the orange exciting as it breaks the rhythm and the blue colour. Excellent shot!! Regards and all the best.

A most delightful blue setting in this compo. Good use of the foreground details, well disposed placement of the horizon all leading to the good contrast of the skyline of the background city. Nice work

Love the shot Ian. So, you used the old "upside-down ND grad" ploy, eh? Suppose it's appropriate - what with you being in the antipodes! Seriously, I really like the mix of stunning seascape against a background of urban lanscape and early evening glow. TFS> Paul.
