We drove up the ultra steep and strangely named Pugilist Hill. From there we had magnificent views around 360°. To the east was the range in the main photo - Chace Range. This is a stitching of 2 photos of just part of the range. The range show strong evidence of the folding that occurred when the range was formed (the curved wavy lines along the range).
In the WS is a closer up view of part of the range.

Hello Ian, beautiful wide panorama of these hills behind the valley. Interesting dots on the red. The roads invite exploration.

Pozdrav.
Nastavljamo dalje kao komsije sa fotografijama na TE.
Lep pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lepa dolina i planina, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvcenim trenutkom sa oblacima koji dolaze i najvaljuju promenu vremena.
Dobar rad sa fotografijom u radionici.
lepa priroda i panorama.
Zelim vam sve najbolje u novoj nedelji koja je pocela.

Long ridge well applied on this horizontal picture with a tight crop, Ian.
The landscape scenery well shown from a longer focal.
Good afternoon,

Hello Ian,
A well made stitch of the long range on a slightly cloudy day with subdued light and colours. I like the winding road cutting across the grassy area and leading my eyes up to the hills. The WS is nice too but you are right that it may be slightly over-sharpened. That's a temptation I have to resist every time.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Ian,
It is certainly possible to see the folding of the rocks in this mountain range.
It was a good idea to include the road, which helps to separate the frame into horizontal layers.
It was interesting to view the close-up - maybe, as you note, a tad too sharp.
Have a good week,
Bev :-)

Hi Ian,
The stitch is well done. The point of view is showing the details of the Chace Range. The light is giving nice tints to the colors of the picture. Have a nice dya.

Hi Ian,
I prefer the workshop photo thanks to its vibrant colors but of course the main upload allows us to better appreciate the scale of this place. I like to see the lone tree don there.
Very exciting adventure,
M

Hello Ian,
Just enough vegetation to provide shade when one wants it, without hiding the lovely red earth. Nice stitch work to show the majesty of the range.

I liked the soft touch of vegetation in this arid landscape, at same time the rusty colors of the mountains contrast well with the plains. excellent.
take care
