Photographer's Note
Please open both photos in new tabs for the better versions.
Yesterday's 2 photos were in colour and Gyorgy suggested that they would also look great in B&W. So here are another 2 photos from my afternoon visit to Menindee Lake both taken in similar areas to yesterday's photos. Don't forget the WS.
The B&W conversions were done with Silver Efex Pro 2.
Sunset in a couple of days.

Pozdrav.
Interesantan i lep pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lepo rastinje i deo jezera, dobro pokazano sa lepim kontrastom, perspeketivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa belim oblacima koji dolaze, lepa crno bela fotografija.
Dobar rad sa lepom fotografijom u radionici.
Zelim vam lepo popodne, sve najbolje za vikend.

Hi Ian
If an artificial lake like a huge ocean was built in the middle of Australia, it would no longer be desertified and grasslands and forests would be created.

Hello Ian,
This looks good in B&W, but the colour versions were even more to my taste.

Hi Ian,
A similar shot to yesterday but with the starkness and graphism of b&w. Once again good silhouettes of the trees, nice reflections, and excellent tonal range and sharpness. Tfs!

Hi Ian,
The wideness of the area is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the trees looking like sculptures. The black and white is giving a good contrast to the scene. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian,
B&W certainly works well with shots like these.
The contrast and the drama is accentuated.
I cannot help seeing what a described previously, that the silhouetted trees appear like elegant dancers, playing out an emotional story.
My warm regards,
Bve :-)

Hello Ian
Temptation is strong :)
Due to this phenomenal outcome, I visited Silver Efex Pro and might try the 'test" version even though the software is rather expensive for a few impeccable pictures, at least for me!
Thanks for this magnificent prize winner!
Cheers

Hello Ian,
Thank you for your time for converting these shots into BW! I think that it worth the effort both of them really spectacular. What is more, I like the WS photo better, for the branch in the fg. It somehow gives a bit more sense of depth.
I had to fave it.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hi Ian
Interesting perspective, lines and shapes of the skeletal branches. Clarity and tonal range combined make this a fine exposure and still looks punchy in black and white. Well done
Best regards

Hello Ian,
You chose a very well panorama view.
Excellent depth and perspective picture.
The trees and vegetation in water are good photographed, but a pity for future.
Composition and presentation are superb.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,

Hello Ian,
Yes, they look great in b&w.
Fantastic with the many silhouettes of the trunks and branches with a light sky and water on their background.
I also like the composition with the fallen trunks in the foreground in your WS.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Ian,
Yes, converting to B&W does "add" to the artistic quality of these photos. It is interesting how taking away color can add, sometimes less is more.
Regards,
MT
