Trilby station where we stayed on the Darling River is a sheep station and the sheep had recently visited the shearing shed.
This pair were grazing under the shade of River Red Gum trees. There were quite a few black sheep in the area.
Like many sheep stations in the outback Trilby also has large numbers of goats which provide good income when exported to America and the Middle East.

Good catch of the 2 lambs on a cloudy day. Excellent sharpness and even a little green grass left in the shade of the protective old trees. Tfs!

Hi Ian,
lovely coiuntryside scene. The sheep add a nice touch also being great scale markers. They allow to better appreciate the size of the trees, these have a great texture of the barks as well similarly to the ones which you showed before.

Hello Ian,
The sheep or lambs seem miniscule under these large trees with thick trunks.
Beautiful, clear and sharp nature shot presented in a good composition.

Hello Ian,
These two 'sheared' baby lambs ... looking very fragile under the shade of River Red Gum trees.
Baa ...we're skinned and afraid, Baa...baaaa !!!
At least , I see wonderful green of grasses for them to chew :-) I do like the black sheep even harder to spot it in this surroundings.
As usual, the sharpness is excellent when 'open' new tab.
