Vertigo, a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

Australia is not only skyscrapers and big cities, but for those who live, like me, in a small medieval Italian cities, these breathtaking scenery are certainly attractive. The photo was captured on the Sydney Tower, usually called Center Point Tower, the tallest building in Sydney, with its 360 meters high.
It was not built to accommodate offices, but to become the tallest building in the city and become an attraction for tourists. In the tower there are two floors, rotating, to admire the bay of Sydney. Among the major attractions there is the opportunity to dine on the top of the tower and look out over the city. Is part of the World Federation of Great Towers.

L'Australia non è solamente grattacieli e grandi metropoli, ma per chi abita, come me, in una piccola città medievale italiana, questi scenari mozzafiato sono sicuramente attraenti. La foto è stata catturata sulla Sydney Tower, generalmente chiamata Center Point Tower, l'edificio più alto di Sydney, con i suoi 360 metri di altezza.
Non venne costruita per ospitare uffici, bensì per divenire l'edificio più alto della città e diventare un'attrazione per i turisti. In cima alla torre vi sono due piani, girevoli, da cui ammirare la baia di Sydney. Tra le principali attrattive turistiche vi è la possibilità di cenare sulla sommità della torre, ammirando il panorama della città. Fa parte della World Federation of Great Towers.

ho già le vertigini! Ammazza che panorama, una visione mozzafiato.
L'effetto grafico è superlativo. tutte queste linee convergenti verso il basso, e le auto che sembrano formichine che brulicano per le strade... ma tutto ciò è possibile ammirarlo solamente grazie ad una nitidezza che ha dello sbalorditivo.

Non sò come ma questa ... mi era sfuggita. Troppo bella ed interessante e solo a vederla veramente ti vengono le vertigini. Molto belle le forme geometriche create dalle strade e disposizione degli edifici. Impressionante il dettaglio, visibile anche da questa distanza. Mi piace anche il bel taglio.Complimenti Paolo.

Credo che ho bevuto troppo di spritz oggi, non mi sento bene, ho la testa che gira ! :) O magari è la tua foto che è responsabile del mio vertigo... :)
Davvero impressionante... Ma come hai fatto ?? Sei divenuto pulitore di buildings ? Non avrei mai potuto prendere una tale foto. Sei un po' matto no ? ;)
Si può dire che hai visto tutto Sidney in meno di un minuto. Davvero efficace questa Lisa ! ;)

Mais quel est donc ce besoin de construire toujours plus haut ! Je sais que la place manque, et que les constructions horizontales tendent à disparaître. Alors, il faut s'y faire, l'avenir des immeubles se construira en hauteur avec des moyens écologiques nouveaux.
Une composition de toute beauté qui donne le vertige.
Les détails, le rendu général sont excellents.

fortunatamente non soffro di vertigini...anzi da giovane costruivo le impalcature fuori i palazzi ed ero una mezza scimmietta...al contrario invece soffro un pò di claustrofobia...ed ho fatto fatica anche ad andare sulla cupola di S. Pietro.
Il tuo scatto è sensazionale, un POV mozzafiato e una gran bella grafica offerta dai grattacieli...mai banali i tuoi scatti...inutile parlare della tecnnica...superfluo...

Grande Gatto, uno scenario mozzafiato. Che tuttavia non mi scuote minimamente. Ho vissuto per 5 anni a N.Y. 28esimo piano, proprio di fronte all'Empire State Building. Dove salivo spesso per bere un aperitivo. Comunque la tua foto é eccellente.

Quando sono salito qui, mi sembrava di essere in elicottero.

Caro Paolo,
questo insieme di linee con inclinazioni diverse, tutte convergenti verso il suolo, dove le auto sono semplici puntini bianchi, crea quella sensazione di vertigine che giustamente hai scelto per il titolo.
La veduta è a dir poco spettacolare, come il POV che hai scelto per esaltare questo capolavoro di grafica e di emozione che la foto trasmette. Complimenti!

It's a natural desire to climb towers and other high places, Paolo, but why? I guess this is a big issue for those experts in people mind's...

Wow! Mi ha fatto vertigini! La qualita' di questa foto e' indiscutabile, specialemente quando lo so bene come sporca era la finestra della toree! Mi piace molto i toni quasi verde, se ricordo bene il tempo fuori non era buona. Ottima anche la prospettiva hai creato, e la storta degli edifici - e' molto artistico. Complimenti mio monellone, stammi bene.

Ciao Paolo, Bea, come atu fatto a farla vegner fora cusi nitida con tutti quei riflessi che ghe jera in giro e anca e finetre me par che no e jera proprio tanto puite. Bravo. Me piase a to nota e el to commento dove te paragonea (?) Sydney con i soi gratacei e a beesa del nostro Treviso nedievae :) na gran diferensa, tutta n'altra roba. Me piase tanto l'Italia anca par questo motivo. Daea Lisa quea sera vemo magna e bevuo a l'Italiana, ma la, se me ricordo ben. jera a l'Australiana, pie (ditta poe) con sauce (no ketchup ;)) e parada zo con na birreta fresca nostra.

Scusa che no te ho commenta prima, ho sempre caro a veder e to foto, specialmente que fatte insieme, ma son un poco stufo par al momento con sto TE.

I'm glad you're the one taking this picture not me, somehow I'm scare of height. I just got back from Bryce Canyon and the canyon are so deep if not for the iron railing I would not go near the edge of the canyon rim to take pictures. This is an awesome capture with sharp details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

non oso immaginare che legnate tira il ristorante panoramico sulla torre. quanto alla prospettiva mi sento di sottolineare come tu abbia effettivamente reso il senso di vertigo...e contemporaneamente sembra che i palazzi crescano da terra e si muovano verso te...un po' come le fantasie visionarie del film "the inception"

A vertiginous, downward pov! I've been up there when it was called Centrepoint. Perfect sharpness & the diffused light has worked in your favour! Incredible repetition of geometric shapes patterns & designs. The aerial skybridge on a diagonal across the street far below is eye catching! Tfs!

Another amazing shot. Fantastic view of the street so far below. Excellent composition, stunning sharpness. Excellent presentation. I can see that you, as earlier Francio, were attracted by skyscrapers in melbourne and Sydney. It seems to me that I would be interested more in nature in Australia.

An excellent pov. The perception of height is incredible with the vehicles so small on the street below. Very good sharpness and everything very clear - none of the buildings are hidden in shadow. Very well done.
