Trip to Tasmania – Day 1
Redcliffe (SE Queensland) to Tamworth (central NE New South Wales) – 610km along the Cunningham and New England highways.
A very pleasant drive through parts of the Great Dividing Range (the Granite Belt in the main posting), fertile agricultural and grazier plains (WS1) and fantastic autumn sceneries (WS2).

Hallo Antonio!
You show us a truly beautiful landscape here. The composition of your photo underlines this in a skillful way - leading the eyes into the scenery, to this impressive rockface. For European eyes it's interesting to see autumn colours in April ;-) The sky in this picture is great! In combination with all these links a contribution in terms of TE!
Greetings from springlike Germany!

Escolho o WS2.

hi Antonio
So you are on a driving trip from Queensland to Tasmania? 2 week! Wow! Very adventurous plan.
Granite! So the belt must have some good mountains to trek?
From this scenery, probably a stopover or pullover of your long drive to take some shots, it looks like very interesting travel.
I like the 2 WS versions which are really fit to be posted by themselves. Will be interesting to follow your travelogue.
Good work.

Bravo!

Bonjour, cher ami Antonio,

Bonito trabajo.

Olá Antônio,
Wonderful framing with the spill of clouds pouring from the granite outcrop and providing dramatic shadows. The gum trees and golden foliage make a great foreground. The sharpness and clarity of colors are beautiful.
I'm looking forward to your trip to Tasmania; we went from Perth to Tasmania one spring and got caught in snow storm crossing the mountains in Tasmania.

Hi Antonio.
Magnificent clouds looming up over the granite peak! Very pleasing perspective with the road, and the autumn gold breaks up the dull green of the Australian bush vegetation. Long, long trip to go by car! Anyway, I look forward to the continuation of the journey.

Olá Antonio,
You captured fantastic landscape scene full with many beauties. I liked your skillful way leading us to your well taken photo with paved road and its white lines that they are giving an excellent depth to your frame. The green textures, Granite Belt mountain are just wonderful under amazing sky. Your complementary posts included beautiful compositions, especially autumn scene can be alone post too.

Hello Antonio,
This reminds me of a scene from the old TV-series, 'Rt. 66.' Of course, those were in b&w and yours show the colors of autumn in the southern hemisphere. The links, along with your note, have wonderful pedagogical value.

Hi Antonio,
Never been there, but i would love to go...but another very long flight :-(
Why don't i move over to Australia, go living in Sydney and have three wonderful countries nearby ;-)
A lot of perspective depth you got here with the road and some nice contrast with that yellow tree, also the clouds on top make it very impressive. It seems you pushed the sharpening a bit too much? There are some artifacts visible. Those ws pictures deserve a mainpost...the look great..!!!

Hello Antonio, Nice Sky, pol. has worked really well, the road, I like the way it leads us into the frame & to the mountain.
The WS photos are great, worthy of their own posting.
Maybe a little over sharpened in places but still a very nice image. Hope you enjoyed your trip, you will need a coat down south, especially in Tassie.
Thanks, Drive safely.

Cumprimentos. Domingos

Hello Antonio,
A rough rendition applying sharpness a little strongly brings an interesting effect to this image. The road leading the eye to the granite belt works nicely. Yellow in autumn is also a nice match for the blue sky.
