Photographer's Note

A calm Sunday morning overlooking Iron Cove. This 7 km walking path is a good place to come on a day such as this. The exercise is much easier when you can just gaze out across the waterviews. It would be nice to live around here and look out over this part of the harbour every day, instead of just once a week.

Another excellent POV of this beautiful cove. Good reflections and nice outlook, the jetty leading in to find a little spot of yellow in the dingy also adds to the overall composition. TFS

Beautiful place, great job in framing and composition, nice light managment, although I would prefer it a little bit darker!

Hi Murray,

The reflections in the water are assets to the composition. The point of view takes our eyes toward the opposite shore which is giving depth to the photo. The quality nof the light is enahncing the different tints of colors of the scenery. Have a nice day.

Your image looks very nice to me but I agree with Hercules I also prefer 'a little bit darker' in this case. But what's in a name... just a matter of taste... in a ws I made it as dark as half an hour before sunset... looks good to me but you tell me what you think about...

Hello Murray,

I estimated that the lights were from early morning. Yes, this is wonderful one with splendid and powerful lights from beginning of day. The white boats, jetty are wonderful. But the reflections of boats and jetty are just spectacular. Congratulations.
