Photographer's Note

The Great Southern (southern Western Australia) is, very much in contrast to the more northern parts, characterised by large Eukalyptus forrests. The large Eukalyptus trees get over 80m tall while far below young brush sch as ferns or smaller trees create a second "level" of vegetation.
