Photographer's Note

Cape Leeuwin is the south western corner of Australia. To the right is the Indian Ocean. To the left is the Southern Ocean.
I've previously posted a close up photo of the lighthouse. This one shows its wild and bare, wind swept location. To the right of the lighthouse are the staff quarters. It wouldn't have been a pleasant place to live.
The lighthouse dates from 1895.
