Now I arrive at the spectacular Flinders Ranges proper. The most famous feature there is Wilpena Pound - a depression surrounded by a high circular and rugged range.
This is Arkaroo Rock, part of the range taken with a wide angle lens. That bright green strip is not pasture but is low dense shrubs.
In the WS is a much closer photo of part of Arkaroo Rock.

Lepo mi krene dan sa vama kao komsijom sa fotografijama na TE.
Lep pogled i trenutak, dobar tekst ...
Lepa zelena dolina i planinna, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa oblacima koji plove nebom.

Hello Ian,
The side light enhanced the rocks layeres rising from left with four different summits in same pattern.
The green pasture in front added good contrasting colors and scale to the whole.

Seen from a distance, the low bushes seem to be a fertile valley or at least a pasture.
It's nice that the sunlight makes these shrubs look bright green.
Arkaroo Rock suddenly rises above these bushes.
The colour of the rocks provides a nice contrast.

Beautiful panorama format view of this mountain range of eroded rock. Sidelight looks great on the slopes. And bright green belt highlights the middle ground.

This is a beautiful landscape shot, with lots of nice, earthy colors and undulations. There seems to be a motion to the rock and shrubs, like a wave on a beach. I like the inclusion of that tree on the right side, too. Take care!

Hi Ian,

The sunlight was in a good position for this photo, showing up the details in the cliffs. It looks like there has been rain recently with all that greenery. The high point on the right is Rawnsley Bluff, if I'm not mistaken.
