Photographer's Note
Taken in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens as was my previous shot. On my right I saw that the birds were about to cross the path and I also saw to my left a young woman walking briskly. I focused on the birds and waited, anticipating some sort of merging of the two parties. This is the result, making it appear as if the ducks are keen to pursue the fit young thing.

A nice and funny capture! I love the hair of the young woman and the enthusiasm with which the birds seem to cross the street. Unfortunately the birds aren't all really sharp, but it must be difficult to get them sharp anyway.
TFS!

Just shows you can capture a young woman at 1/160 sec, but not quite a young duck - the leading pursuers are ever so slightly blurry, such is their haste! Good, humorous shot, Klaudio. Somehow in shooting this action shot you got the footpath into the frame at a pleasing angle and the farther couple add depth and emphasise the perspective. Perfect timing to catch the young woman's hair on the rise, too. Well done.

Andrew

Hi Klaudio
Excellent timing to get the ducks setting off like that. There's also balanced positionning between the 2 couples and I like the details such as the interraction between the middle couple and the long wavy hair. Seems like many stories in one.
Apparantly when I was very small, I fell in the lake here. Thank goodness it was shallow and my parents didn't have to jump in to rescue me. But as I was soaked, they had to dress me in one of my baby sisters' clean, cloth nappies.

Hello Klaudio,
Ha-ha, yes, those ducks are quite cheeky. They are Australian Wood Ducks, who nest in hollows high up in trees. Incredibly when the nestlings are ready to leave their home they will leap out of the tree perhaps 50ft to the ground. These are all juveniles except for the parents which are the second from the front and one at the back. Perhaps a faster shutter speed would have helped keep the clarity here, but the motion blur is actually half the appeal so I can understand your decision. It may have been more effective with only the single person in the frame as the others distract a little, but you have to make do with what situation you are given and you have managed this well.

Hi Klaudio
Well seen here. I wonder if she knew she was being eyed up by the ducks. Everyone is nicely placed in the scene.
Well done.

Hi Klaudio
Nice composition with the birds passing through the street in a rush. I wonder if there is no zebra crossing ;).

Ha ha, funny and sweet situation in one hand, and in the other hand, it shows a life where humans and animals live together in harmony, sharing this same piece of earth. I guess u reacted really quick on this one, since there is a fast movement of every single element here walking in its' own direction. It's not easy to frame this right and to put the elements in its' best positions when u have to do it very fast.
This just looks absolutely great and the hair of the girl is the highlight here (after the ducks).
