Photographer's Note
A quiet moment while travelling, this was a very windy day looking out to sea on St Kilda Pier. I took one shot without the pier in view, which has a little more colour and perhaps emotion too. The latter definatly had more interest and perspective whilst still having the spectacular glare when the sun's rays can be seen either side of the clouds. I'll post the version without the pier in the workshop.

Howdy Mike! Amazing pier! Amazing ship! Beautiful sescape. Fantastic clouds. Good shot. Cheers!

Magnificent. The only thing I might try tweaking in PP would be to see if I could bring out a little more detail in the foreground pier (almost dark). Lovely shot, thanks for sharing it.

I like this shot. The light bursting through the clouds gives a lot of character.
I would suggest an alternate approach to Propofol however. I'd actually see what silhouetting the pier does for your image rather than trying to lighten it.
