Photographer's Note
Looking out over one of several lakes around 50km SW of Cairns in northern Queensland Australia. The virgin remnants of natural forest cover alongside the clear waters looked appealing alongside the great tracts of farmland in this rather special area.

Hi Murray
I saw blue lake in the title and immediately thought of my favourite Blue Lake in the Snowy Mountains But then I realised that I'd had coffee in the cafe in the lake side building in this photo.
Great composition and a great very high POV - taken from the air?

A bit ahzy at the top but good contrasts on the foreground, is this taken from a plane ?

Hi Murray,
The point of view is taking my eyes from the lake toward the mountains which is giving depth to the composition. The forest is framing well the lake. There is a good contrast between the colors of the lake and the colors of the forest. Have a nice day.
