Photographer's Note

Farther up the Bundanoon Creek gorge from yesterday's photo is a lookout called Bonnie View and this is the view across the gorge with the 2 layers of cliff. Once again you can see some burnt patches from last years fires.
I did go down to the bottom of this section of the gorge years ago a couple of times with my son years ago (1987 and 1990 I think!) and I'll add 2 not especially good workshop photos taken on those visits. I'm afraid that the long ultra steep climb required is beyond me now especially the getting back up part.

Hi Ian,
Impressive view from this POV, like a bird's eye POV, nice sunlight and contrast of texture between forest and the mineral cliffs, tfs.

Hello Ian,
This main photograph emphasises the vastness of the region! Though the burnt areas are still visible, the greenery is taking over as the plants regenerate.
It was interesting to study your w/s, noting the stilness of the water and, I did not realise that there would be steps down the river.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Ian,
I really like the different patterns that both the trees and the cliffs create. The latter stand out very nicely from the former as well and the sunlight highlighted everything really well.

Hi Ian,
I like the different layers of rocks. The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the rocks. The light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian,
I was surprised to read that this photo was taken from a viewpoint. I thought it was an aerial photo.
It must have been a wonderful descent. However, you know all the time that you also have to go back up.
Amazing landscape presented with a very good light.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Ian
Missed this one, and it looks like a miniature version of the Blue Mountains. Nice to see the forest recovering from the horrific bushfires of 2019/20. Tfs!
