Photographer's Note
Mack truck on Hume Highway. While approaching Albury from direction of Sydney highway and railway follow each other. Shot from a train running to the same direction. Tinted windows made finding right colour balance rather tricky.
While this is not in road train territory, in more remote areas Australia has the largest and heaviest road-legal vehicles in the world.

Hi Kari,
I was not really happy with your blur tram with panning, but this, yeah this looks more like it in the way it should be. For Australian standards this is just a small truck, any chancy to get a real road train in full speed? I never succeed i getting one, but maybe you have.
Anyway, the panning with slight blur looks great, the motion is there and the sharpness on the truck is fantastic...and with the right colours to brings extra contrast in the photo you really have a good one here...congratulaitions.
Regards,
Henk

Great picture, Kari.
It just looks like 'SPEEEEED', with that blurry grass at the bottom of the photo and the sign in front of the truck. The truck is so sharp, and I reckon you have done a great job with the colour here. To get a photo of such quality and energy through the window is great work. I think it deserves much more recognition from viewers.
Which was going faster, I wonder?
Regards,
Andrew

Hi kari, what a great shot - and so Australian. I love the blur in the FG (reading Henk Ive just learnt it's from panning) very good tachnique. And you did really well with the colour balance. That's a shame you missed a roadtrain. They're quite impressive - a little scary if you get too close. Hopefully you'll get one when you come back to Oz. Have a great day, Lisa.

Hello Kari,
I love this huge truck. Great red and green. The foreground & background grass gives a sense of movement but the truck itself sharp and clear. Regards. Latiff.

Terve Kari,
Maybe not a road train this one but still impressive for our european eyes, sharp subject with blurred foreground giving the feeling of speed, nice image.
Have a nice day JY

Hello Kari,
I like how all the colour in the shot comes from the truck, lovely contrast with its surroundings, the rough terrain it is driving through. Good panning job too!

Hei Kari,
Mielenkiintoisia kokoonpanosta, jossa hämärtää toimii hyvin ja lisää dynaamisuutta. Erinomainen värit ja yksityiskohdat.
Ystävällisin terveisin,

Hi Kari,
This brightly colored 18-wheeler cuts quite a figure as it speed through the slightly blurred landscape.
The colros are crystal clear and the sharpness first rate.
This image really gives a fine feel for the wide openness of The Austurilan countryside.

Hi Kari! It looks like everything that moves and has more than four wheels can't escape your fast Canon! :) Great panning here. The colors of the truck are great and really make the picture. Nice! Aren't there trains in Australia?
