Photographer's Note

a view from the road between the Yellostone National Park and Cody which is often called the most scenic road in America; earlier I posted a a different view I saw literally across the road from this scene. of course, in an ideal world there would be a white horse trotting towards the gate, silky mane flowing in the wind... no such luck. on the other hand, you actually CAN see a horse here.

RAW, ISO 320, 27mm focal length, spot metering.

p.s. my laptop cannot decide wheter to die or not. in anticipation of its final decision I have copied everything I need, so the damn thing can do as it pleases, but what bothers me is that it seems to be affecting the colour balance on the auxiliary big screen. so I can only hope that what I see as nice warm light here is not actually a ghastly green (laptop's favourite colour for the moment) disaster.
