I've been holding off on posting tis one because it is grainy. That's from cropping it from a larger, horizontal format. Also because of the fog that I had to clear a bit by increasing the blacks in the white under selective colours.

Anyway, the surf on the coast of Maui is ideal for kite surfing. This is one of the many kite surfers, the surfer is actually in the water below. The mountains far in the background made an atmospheric backdrop covered by "vog" or vulclanic smog. I isolated just the kite with the zoom lens on 450-mm as it sailed past the mountains.

P.S. I have allowed workshops on this image. If anyone can show me how to eliminate the graininess, please do so. Thanks.
