What a riot! They really do look like cartoon characters. You could not have had them pose any better. Just curious . . is the DOF from the camera or from PP. I'm not sure how to explain it exactly, but the drop-off from the foreground to the background seems kind of abrupt to me.

If this is the real life characters of Chips n Dale,ot couldn't get better than this publicity shot. Cool cute and cuddly. You did well in getting the exposure right. Even the details in the shadows show. Great work Lee.

Great shot for National Rabies Awareness Month!! (Just kidding. LOL.)

This kind of shot is so hard to get -- great job. The DOF doesn't bother me. It looks like the drop off is actually due to a physical change in elevation.

You used a 24-70 lens? You must have been very, very close. Impressive.

Since mid july I have spent all my lunch hours going to the bay shore spreading peanuts and trail mix and wait for this shot ( never caught one in a good pose), and here you have what I've been seeking.
Gorgeous they are so well detailed and with such glorious background as Crater Lake.

No, I think you've got Dale and Chip there. This is a terrific shot, and to get two of them posing like that is something else. I imagine it would be hard enough getting a good shot of one.

Oh Lee, they are SO sweet! Perfect exposure and DOF, with the sun light highlighting the beauty of their fur. The guy on the right holding his tail up is a special bonus. Very well captured!

Very nice catch Snook, they are really funny. You can almost ear them talking between them about you! Great photo. Have a nice day. Maybe adding a bit more on how it has happened or else, in the note could have been very interesting. :o)

oh my gosh..how cute!! I haven't seen a chipmunk since I moved to the lake here in Canada..I miss these little guys. Thanks for sharing such a sweet photo. I do believe they are both smiling!!
