Photographer's Note

A photographers paradise, Grand Teton National Park offers breath-taking landscapes at every turn. You will also have to arrive early to set up your tripod at your chosen, previously-scouted vista to get your shot, well-known views are swarming with cameras on tripods waiting for sunrise.

This frame was shot in an off-the-beaten-path area, requiring a wade across a small branch of the Snake River, and taken with my tripod in the middle of the stream. The sun had not reached the tops of the Teton range.
