Life imitates Art: 2

Here I waited for a long time to try and capture a group of people that varied in position and color that was similar to the famous painting "Saturday in the Park" by Saurat.

My hope to was to create an atmosphere where the people of the picture fell out of the painting into the museum. I know it is a high goal but I guess you gotta shoot for something.

Yeah - love it Brady - great idea and fruitful waiting and observation - what a really nice image - these guys could be an exhibition themselves - life like figures - again really nice intelligent image making.

clever shot...an intreresting crowd there in the Art Instittute..your patience has paid off...I wish we could see a few more faces but overall I like it...it does seem like an extension of the painting itself

Interesting theme you are trying to fallow. It is like we are looking at two parallel worlds. In the painting, everybody is all dressed up and in this one they are all in everyday stuff.

What is wierd in this picture is the fact that everybody seems to be doing something else than looking at the painting. It is almost like you cut all these people from something else.

I guess patience is the key to get good pictures!

Another excellent "reflection" theme. Very good color management, and, importantly, you saw the potential very well.
