Photographer's Note
This was shot right outside of the art institute from the same staircase as the last shot.
This woman struck me as I looked down the street to see the Sears Tower (tallest in US) and her standing there. They kind of reminded me of each other somehow.

Brady,
At first, I was disappointed the skyscrapers and rest of the city weren't in strong focus (due to my love of cityscapes at night). But, the more I looked, the more I enjoyed the depth of field in this photo. Now, obviously the women is the primary subject, but my eyes are more drawn to the horizantal on the bottom third, particularly the street in the distance that the taxicabs are turning onto. There is a nice group of colors/light/activity down that street that is really the most interesting and drawing part of the photograph to me. Thanks for sharing
Alan

Hey Brady,
I realise it's from a different city, but its a very New Yorky kind of photo I think with the tall buildings and the taxi and police car(?). The woman looks so small against the whole scenery, and I do like the background being in bokeh.

Neat compo Brady. Nice positioning of the woman in the context of all those verticls. For me the dof is fine, you have focus on your subjwct, and just enough of the city can be seen to be appreciated and to contribute to the composition.

Hi Brady,
the woman seems lost in this big city...
I like your compo and the dof.
I like the atmosphere in this image.
Thanks : )

HI BRADY, watching this shot my goes directly to the woman...and this is for the very good compo and and the blured background!
i like a lot also the different color tones of this image...cold for the blue of the sky and warm on the road...
Well seen and done!
ciao!

The way you have captured the night sky against the buildings outline is effective, it reminds me a little of the paintings Georgia O'Keefe did. Obviously yours are unique and have a slightly different feel to them but they ave a great mood in them, partly from the colurs and the general composition, thanks.
