Photographer's Note
Early morning along the Fairbanks-Anchorage highway near Mt McKinley (Denali). Unfortunately I lost the data of focal length, but it was at least 150mm. This is the first time I sharpened AFTER resizing, so it looks somewhat like a scan. I don't know the names of these mountains, but they are just a part of the Alaska Range and not particularly "famous" or tall peaks, I just liked the long blue shadows.

Hej Tan,
These blue shadows are really great. I like very much to see the snowy mountains and the many trees in front are also a very good addition. Well captured and thanks for sharing!

Stunning view of these mountains, Cap'n! The composition works with appropriate amounts given to sky, mts and trees.

Hey Tan. You're right about the shadows and the interplay with the light is nice to look at. You must have been far away to be able to fit those big mountains in at 150mm. tfs Tan.

Well well Tan I must admit I stopped at this scene and just stared at the beauty here. The deep blue shadows are simply gorgous and a real delight to see. The focal length really ties this scene together nicely too. I love the tall alpine trees in this setting too. Marvelous place and thanks for sharing it with us. You certainly seem to get around ....you have photos from all over the globe...even Newfoundland!

Hi Tan
The DOF is well good given the trees spaced at different intervals. The lighting is indeed beautiful and has led to these beautiful shadows. Textures have turned out well too.
Best wishes

Hi Tan,
This photo goes straight to my favorites, I like the framing with the foreground trees, the ski path through the hillside, and the wonderful detail you captured in the mountain with that focal length. I'm just trying to learn how to use a polarizer filter, I keep getting the foreground too dark. I impressed at the excellent light management here; everything has good saturation, light and color. I passed this spot last year in July, but My photos are all green.
