Photographer's Note
art opening:
at this art opening of a friend of mine's I got to finally do some shots in a gallery...something I have wanted to do for a long time.
this is a shot of the artist of the works behind her and her husband. they were in the same postion in this shot as they are in the works behind her. I liked the triange created with them and the two visible works. Their faces are a bit dark but I liked that b/c i was able to highlight their art work. I think it made for an interesting idea.

A nice idea - a real 'thinking photographer' image - this repetition of the relationship and position of the subjects - reflecting her own work - this is very nice - position and something about the simple everydayness of it in all three images - there is such a rich stream running through this picture .....
I think the frame immediately behind her head really gets in the way of the clarity of the image and would be better if it were surgically removed - also the image could do with a little more coloiur and contrast - I've had a quick play in the workshop - then I got to go to bed!!!!
best wishes Kev
