Photographer's Note
This was taken at Trunk Bay on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We had gone there on vacation in July. The summer months are not a very popular time to head to the Virgin Islands or any island in the Caribbean. This is because it's hurricane season there that time of year. But, that's when the travel and hotel rates are most affordable. If there is no hurricane in the forecast you will be rewarded with beautiful weather like we had that day.
The day we were at Trunk Bay, I took a stroll along the beach and spotted this couple talking in a cove. I liked the scene with them among the rocks and water but when I viewed the photo I noticed some problems with contrast. In the original the water was blown out. I tried to retrieve the details by selecting it and copying it to a new layer. Then I added a blending mode of Multiply to that layer. After that I also had to do some work with the burn tool to retrieve more details. I also had to use the burn tool on the rock on which the man is situated.
Workshops are welcome. :-)

Interesting composition with the couple in this special place. Your post work seems to have come out well Linda. Well done.

The woman's dress is so white, it ultimately gets my attention--and that is a good thing. I like how the man appears after the woman is discovered. There is lots of competition, though. You've got amazing textures and shapes and lines that are all competing for my attention. Perhaps some way of framing them, or use of leading lines or focus would help polish this shot and clarify its communication. What a lovely place!
