Photographer's Note
This is another shot of Santa Monica Mountains, about the same time (sunset/dusk) as this picture was taken in a different area and direction.

great composition with the foreground dragging the eye over to the mountains further away. the light is good and I like all the gree/blue which goes so well with the warm color of the foreground.

Hola Wes.
Another good picture of the Santa Monica Mountains. Good POV. Very good colors and composition. The clouds covering the background mountains give good perspective and depth. Nicely taken.
I will be back on Sunday.
Well done.

Hi Wes,
A three colours image, foreground a brown colour, in middle a dark green and above play between light and dark clouds, very nice composition.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

Hi Wes,
Excelent capture and picture with great depth and perspective. Fine angle of view directing our eyes to the distant moutains with the last sun rays of the day reflecting in these nice cloudy formations. Good luminosity and and a excelent composition.
Congratulations and have a nice weekend. Best to you.

The composition is the classic rule of thirds with 3 clear layers. There is certainly lots of drama in the sky but there also appears to be lots of noise. It is not one of your best shots Wes; sorry I don't want to offend you.

Hi Wes,
Most I like the 3 layers here horizontally, and that heavy hovering clouds on the place, not very sharp and a bit noisy, but at all well composed and I like this mood in the shot,Thanks for posting,Wes,

Hej Wes,
This is a very nice capture of this empty landscape. I like the big clouds, they create a fine mood. Good colours too, well done!

Bonjour Wes,
Excellent week-end.
Daniel.

Hi Mr. Wes. What a catch of light! I like the POV and sunset conditions. But I think I see a little bit of noise, but nothing to worry about. Nice work Wes!

The small ray of light, just on the ridge, creates a good light effect. I wish there were more.
You succeed to have a interesting shot in very bad conditions.
Well done.

Hi Wes
Nice composition with a beautifull light on the back, contrasting with this dark mountain.
Well done

Bonjour Wes
Hello Wes
Without wanting to offend you, I consider as this photograph is less in comparison to your collection. I allow myself to share with you my opinion.
The image was compressed too much in format JPEG because of the weak definition. I am sure that the original has a high definition.
Cheers
