A take off on the popular Absolut vodka advertisement. (Posted with apologies to Absolut vodka or anyone offended by this parody. I am not a part of Absolut nor I am selling the brand. I don't even drink. But the icon is so popular that it is a part of our culture and I have seen the ad campaign parodied so many times.)

This is part of my Above Earth photo collection taken during two flights across the West of the USA in 2001.

This is a small city in some desert in California taken from 30,000 ft above. I noticed that the shape of the city looks like a bottle, so I rotated and framed it like the Absolut Vodka ad.

Absolut TrekEarth, my tribute to this wonderful addictive community.

Taken with the zoom lens at full extension. Auto contrast, reduced noise by median filter and sharpened.

This is really cool Ken, especially since you are showing the actual shape, not a Photoshopped creation. Technically, a slightly wider angle would be preferable, but it works well just as is. Good eye to spot this one.

What a brilliant idea, Ken. The aerial view by itself would already have been great, but you put it into a whole new context. I also enjoyed the workout this picture gave my neck, as I kept tilting sideways and back up a couple of times ;-)

Very original composition. I love it. I would suggest using NeatImage for noise reduction, it is really a must (and there is a functional demo version).
