Splash II, a photo from California, West

Photographer's Note

Repost notes: Here is evidence that TE improves its members: I must have learned one or two things about composing a pic from being a TE. member. At least this version of 'Splash II' is, at least by my standards, a vast improvement from the original pic.

Original notes: Another shot of the 'liquid fireworks' in the sunset 'under the bridge' in LA (i.e. under Santa Monica pier). This have more of a motive proper than the previously posted Splash I.

Done nothing to it but cropping and adding the slightest amount of contrast. I'm proud to note that this was handheld!

Nice to re-post and to add explicative notes.
I like this one too Mikkel... But the first one seemed even stronger, more powerful, just like an explosion of gold!

very nice! the water splash look like it was intentionally done - but it is very good! i like the yellow tone, it makes the image stand out!

great movement here. I really like the colors and the action of this shot. It really captures the scene well. The golden color really makes this stand out.

I usually don't appreciate a picture for its colours or contrast, but this one is really charming! Although, I like more its composition and I have to say it has a perfectly balanced framing.
