Photographer's Note
First upload from the Museum of Modern Art in NY, and for the first image I thought it would be appropriate to post the picture of the information desk.
Would recommend the visit to anyone, what is important for photographers is that you can photograph as much as you want (which doesn't seem to be a norm in musuem these days), except for few restricted areas. Mostly modern art (some quite wacky) combined with some classics, all very interesting.
This light lasted no more than one minute.

Hey Peter,
well well well, MoMA. I was there a few days ago. What a place for photography:) So many interesting details, the architecture and interior design may be more interesting than the art:) I LOVE that museum, my favorite in New York, even though the Gugengeim gets the praise for architecture. I prefer MoMA though. You are right about the ability to photograph. Thats why I like it far more than the Gugenheim where they dont allow you to take photos.
Love the light in this shot, very unique. B/W eh? What is it about this place that makes b/w the natural choice? I also shot in b/w there.

Beautiful shot, great shafts of almost spiritual light washing down on this entrance scene, this, let'S be frank, post 9/11 art scene, with searches etc.. It's great to see you posting this fine B/W stuff again, Peter, truly!

Good scenery with the light beem down on the desk. Yes I know you needed to capture the light in the frame at right time, but I wanted to see some more motions in the low part of the frame. Mmm, I don't know,,I am trying to imagine what if 2 people were walk crossing in the blunk space below. Well, I am just imagining it...

Hi Peter, good to see you back again! Wow, isn't this called : "Guidance from above"? Did you talk to the lady, did she deserve this beam of light, you think? Everything is so nice here, the floor with the irregular pattern, or actually no pattern (hell, sometimes it's hard to find the words to express, not only in English, but even in Dutch!)
There's a white line on the right as well, I guess that's no sunlight. I love the lines created by the walls, the shade and the sunlight, beautiful. You did great Peter!
