Photographer's Note
I like this photo myself as it has a certain meaning to me. In 2002 I bought my first medium format camera - a Hasselblad 500c/m and this photo is from the first roll I put through it as I tried out how it would work as an 'action camera' :-)
I used a 80mm Zeiss lens (translates to about a standard/normal 50mm lens on 35mm cameras).
Film was T-Max 400. A film I now despise.

This captures for me the feeling of soaring above the ocean. I could not resist experimenting with this and I will post a workshop when I am permitted.

J'aime beaucoup cette image. Le BW lui donne une puissance supplémentaire. Bonne réalisation.

Great composition, beautiful light, works nery well in B&W. I like how those dark clouds behind the hang glider make the atmosphere quite threatening...
Excellent work.

This is brilliant! The black and white is great. The hang glider is placed perfectly in the frame, and the dramatic sky adds a great deal. Just perfect!

It has a peaceful feeling about it. One that would be great for a poster. Was he coming in for a landing? He seems really low. I like I give this a 9. A well rounded picture.

There's nothing as 6x6 format, it has this wonderful sense of serenity to many shots, to this as well.

Very good job.The use of the square format with black and white is very judicious. The flying man is perfectly placed in the picture.I like the texture of clouds.Enjoy yourselves with your Blad Richard.

I like this, but maybe it could be better if paraplanerist moved slightly to center.
