Photographer's Note

This is another angle view of the pilings seen in my last two photos. The island behind these is Fremont Island.

Again, these pilings belonged to the old Lucin Cutoff, an old rail line that went directly across the Great Salt Lake but was replaced in 1956 by a raised road bed. The trestle system comprised these two piers.
