Photographer's Note

La construction du Chrysler Building, supervisée par l'architecte américain William Van Alen, s’est étalée entre 1928 et 1930, l'inauguration ayant eu lieu le 27 mai 19304. Il a été déclaré National Historic Landmark le 8 décembre 19765. Le Chrysler Building a été rénové en 1978, avec la construction d'un hall, composé essentiellement de marbre, d'acier et de granite, semblable à celui de l’Empire State Building. En outre, la flèche a été rénovée en 1995, car l’acier inoxydable avait perdu de son éclat avec le temps.

a superb presentation, the iconic landmark looks so elegant and new, the modern shapes in the foreground and the soft blue sky set it off through effective contrast. You dealt with sharpness marvellously and the copper/golden tones are most appealing. Congratulations and thank you!

J'apprécie les reflets sur les vitres de l'immeuble. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'immeuble Chrysler. La bonne luminosité embellit les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

I love both the buildings but for me, it's the light and texture that really makes this unique. Even the sky looks like it has a texture you could touch

Beautiful photo of the wonderful Chrysler Building, which I always enjoying seeing. The warm light is lovely in combination with the blue sky and the large glass facade in the foreground reflects the golden light so wonderfully too.
