Four Sticks, a photo from Texas, South

Photographer's Note

The scenery of Tyler State Park, a couple hours from my house, is quite a refreshing change from the concrete field that is Dallas. Unlike Dallas, there are lots of rolling hills, lush vegetation, and clear (rather than muddy) water. At sunrise, it was as tranquil as could be.

Not my favorite Zeppelin song, but I thought it made a fitting title for these trees. The mist was just starting to burn off the lake as the sun got higher in the sky.

Very well seen ; and nice composition. I would have never guessed this was in the Dallas area-- I love the stick label you put and how the light of the sun frames your four sticks----- well seen

The choice to go vertical seems to impose itself here and the result is highly attractive.

Light is good and the mist is a stunning feature.
