Photographer's Note

according to the Chinese calendar, 2010 is the year of the Tiger (ok, technically it doesn't start until 15 February). as someone who was also born in the year of the Tiger, I expect to have, and wish everyone else to have, the best year ever. meanwhile, let me remind you that we, the Tiger people, are the best:

Tiger people are sensitive, given to deep thinking, capable of great sympathy. they can be extremely short-tempered, however. other people have great respect for them, but sometimes tiger people come into conflict with older people or those in authority. sometimes Tiger people cannot make up their minds, which can result in a poor, hasty decision or a sound decision arrived at too late. they are suspicious of others, but they are courageous and powerful.

about the photo: same with my previous post from Bronx Zoo, this photo was taken through glass, so the image is not as crisp and sharp as I would like. but I loved the light. and, of course, the tongue expecting delicious events of this year (I seem to be developing a collection of tongues on display).

RAW, ISO 400, 150mm focal length, spot metering.
