Photographer's Note

Red Canyon is one of those small, compact places that capture your attention immediately and can hold it for a long time. intense red and orange against the blue sky and bizarre rock formations make you wonder if there was something extra in your morning coffee. the light was harsh when we arrived at the Canyon, but the colours are so saturated even the midday sun is not able to bleach them.

RAW, ISO 100, 40mm focal length, spot metering.
