Yellowstone River

Enough photos of Mammoth Hot Springs for the time being. It is time to explore other parts of Yellowstone National Park as well. This is a view of the Yellowstone River, which is a tributary of the Missouri River and is about 1,114 kilometres long. It was taken not far from Roosevelt Lodge and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. The part near the bend in the river is called Calcite Springs, where oil and liquified sulphur flow into the river.
