Mound Terrace

I have to post more photos from Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park of course, so I just hope you won’t get bored by them too quickly. The terrace we saw after Jupiter Terrace was Mound Terrace, which hadn’t dried up yet, on the contrary. A thin layer of hot water flowed down over the travertine rock formations, which also meant the algae in the water caused lots of warm colours as well.
