This little island here reminded me of some tropical paradise. But in reality this is far from tropical, we are up high in the mountains, at Diablo Lake in the North Cascades. The green color of the water is caused by glaciers.

Una bonita toma de ese islote solitario con sus palmeras, no tengo nada para comparar, pero parece muy pequeñito.

VEry nice picture Matt, yes you are rigth this brig to my mind some island in the caribean, even the color too.

I never has been in the cascades, I hope soon I can visit this place I really would like to be there and see the beuties in this place. Sometimes you don't need to travel to see places like this, just a camera and the adventure.

But I have fear that for my build the island is very small for me... hehehe

I've camped at Diablo Lake, but never saw this little island, not that I am in anyway challenging you of course. But curious where one sees this island. Of course last time I was there, the lake had been partially drained for maintainance on the dam. It certainly does look like a desert island though. Nice catch Matt.
