Photographer's Note
This is a shot of street art underneath an overpass in Bellevue. The walls are covered in paintings, but the ground is littered with garbage, mostly old paint cans.
Since many people ask to see this in color, I posted a workshop showing the original version of this shot.

Matthew,
for me it is a nice shot, and for one main reason: the fact that you left teh spray cans in the frame.
I would suggest to leave the shot in colors, to respect the graph and also to insist on the possible contrasts in your composition.
I would also try to give it a more dynamic angle: shoot from on side in order to make your own proportions of the graph.
And since the strength of the story behnd your shot is (in my opinion) the spray cans, give them more emphasis: try to put one, or several on a first plan (premier plan in french) and using maybe a larger apperture (F/4 maybe, if you want to insist on the cans and leave the graph blurry, or smaller if you want to capture everything).
Take care
Flo
PS: it's quite tricky to make B&W pics with the D50, how do you do it? I've got the same camera, and was quite disappointed to discover that you cannot shot in B&W...
