Photographer's Note

Bess Lake lies at 11,000 feet on Boulder Mountain in southern Utah. I liked the contrast of the rocks and water and sky, a storm was about to dump hail on me from the ragged clouds.

It's perhaps not as sharp as it could be given that it is hand held at 1/15 second, no tripod was available as I was on my dirt bike, need one of those gorilla things. I wanted the biggest F stop I could hold steady to get the DOF with the rocks up close and the far shore line.
