Photographer's Note
The 4th of July, in Utah, and it was 42 degrees F. This is not normal, nor were the bugs. As I exposed this picture of the falls, I am sure there were no less than 1000 bugs surrounding me.
No rain for a month, the day I went out to photograph, rain, hail and rain.
I exposed this at 2 seconds, (for you Robert), my personal taste is more natural in the look and that one I exposed at 1/60th of a second.
It is a pretty place, wish I could have stayed outside longer.

Holy cow! I just posted a picture from just above this waterfall taken the day before yours. I almost posted this exact same picture! That's crazy. Anyway, I like your composition. The lichen-covered rock in the foreground is great. Overall a great waterfall shot.
Regards,
Ryan
P.S. I even mentioned the bugs in my note. And it rained on me too.

Very pretty, Dana. I like the 2 sec exposure, as the water is silky & very white.

You Suck...I can't believe that you got to go to one of my most favorite places in Utah while I had to go and 'commune' with the in-laws. I at least got a few pictures from the top of Strawberry Peak before the rain, hail, and more rain came and got me.
Nice picture...I can tell that you are using your new monitor. Very nice.

Hi Dana. Unusual rock formation, like a stack of pancakes. I’m with you on the long exposures and waterfalls, too often gets a little clichéd. Nice composition and POV. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.
